Director of the Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework, Professor Gabrijela Grujić, and the director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Mr Richard Kohli, have signed an important agreement today, based on which a donation from the Swiss Confederation will be realised for the implementation of the project for the development of dual education in Serbia.
The donation will ensure the implementation of the project “Support to dual VET and NQFS system reform in the framework of lifelong learning in Serbia”.
“We will continue to fully develop the dual education model with our partners. To that end, we will implement a whole set of activities related to monitoring and evaluation, to the possibility of a more flexible approach and more efficient integration of the economy into the dual model of education,” said Mrs Grujić.
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation actively supports dual education in Serbia through bilateral and institutional cooperation. Director Kohli has stated that dual education is a priority when it comes to cooperation between Switzerland and Serbia.
“The goal of the project is to improve the dual education system, the efficiency and transparency of the education system through the digitization of business processes and procedures, the improvement of the National Qualifications Framework system in the context of lifelong learning, as well as that young people entering the labour market and their employers benefit from the progress and achievements on the labour market thanks to a sustainable and inclusive dual education system,” said Mr Kohli.
As he has underlined, the project will also improve the capacities of the Office for Dual Education and NQFS to achieve strategic goals and fulfil its tasks.
