Born in 1982 in Belgrade, he successfully attended the Philological High School (major: Classical Languages) and in 2005, graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade with an average grade of 9.35 out of 10. During his studies, he received various public scholarships, including the scholarship of the Government of the French Republic, for Master studies (M2) in European law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Nancy 2 (today: University of Lorraine). By defending dissertation in 2014 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, he obtained the title of PhD in Law.
From 2010 to 2019, he was engaged as an expert associate at the University of Belgrade. Since 2019, he has held the position of Secretary General of the University of Belgrade and Secretary General of the Conference of the Universities of Serbia. By a decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in February 2023 he was appointed Acting Assistant Director of the Office for Dual Education and National Framework of Qualifications.
Vladimir Mikić obtained scientific degree of Research Associate in 2021. He published two scientific research monographs and more than 30 scientific papers. He is fluent in English and French and conversant in German.
