Gabrijela Grujić was born on March 29, 1971 in Belgrade.
She completed her basic studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the Department of General Music Pedagogy in 1994 with an average grade of 9.13 and a grade of 10 (ten) on the diploma exam in Music Teaching Methodology. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 1998, after passing all prescribed exams with an average grade of 9.66 and defending her master’s thesis. She obtained her diploma of Doctor of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad in 2009.
Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić has rich teaching experience, which includes almost three decades of work in the field of preschool, primary, secondary, higher and higher education. She has been employed at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Belgrade since 2007, and in 2018 she earned the title of associate professor.
Biography of Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić was published in “Oxford’s Book Successful People of Serbia” in 2016.
Realizing the inseparability of education and upbringing from culture, she was happy to contribute as an advisor for the field of children’s education in the Children’s Cultural Center of Belgrade in the period from 2015 to 2016.
In the period from September 2016 to September 2017, she served as an advisor to the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development for dual education.
She held the position of Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning since September 2017.
Guided by the idea of the necessity of synergistic action between education and the economy, it redirected its activities to the creation and promotion of the benefits of an educational learning platform in two places.
In the desire to make dual education a personal choice for young people, as a platform that will lead to a secure career in the Republic of Serbia, her work is reflected in both practical and academic activities.
Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić made a significant contribution through engagement in international projects dealing with the development of dual education. The Eramus+ project “DualEdu (Implementation of Dual Education in Higher Education of Serbia)” aimed to introduce dual education into the higher education system of the Republic of Serbia.
The “EDU-LAB” project, supported by the European Union, has determined for expediency the improvement of professional opportunities for young people in the Danube region.
She is the author of many scientific works in the field of dual education, the editor of the publication “National Model of Dual Education: The Path to the Future of Serbia”, which is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Government of Switzerland within the project “Support in the Development and Establishment of the National Model of Dual Education”. In addition to the above, he is the author of many textbooks and manuals for elementary school students and students of the Faculty of Teacher Education.
Under the auspices of the Swiss Government, she completed dual education training at the prestigious KOF Swiss Economic Institute Center, whose director is Dr. Ursula Renold, an expert in dual education in Switzerland.
Together with his team and relevant social partners, Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić is the creator of the National Model of Dual Education in Serbia.
In the period from 2017 to 2022, she held the position of assistant minister for dual education and upbringing.
She chairs the Commission for the Development and Monitoring of Dual Education and the Council for the National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Serbia.
He has been the director of the Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework since November 2022.
She is the mother of Magdalena, Mateja and Maksim.
